Nora Ahern, LCSW, MSW

Every experience we go through shapes us. However, not every experience has to define us. Are you having a difficult time with a life transition? Do you find yourself in relationships with friends or partners that remind you of challenging experiences you had as a child? Are you exhausted of doubting yourself and feeling insecure? Do you feel confused about your feelings, and don’t feel a mind-body connection? You have come to the right place. Therapy is a place to explore your past, start to heal your inner child, and break inter-generational patterns.

I work with children and adults and utilize trauma-informed, psychodynamic, attachment theory, and anti-oppressive treatment modalities. I have experience working with survivors of trauma and folks struggling with symptoms of depression and anxiety. As a LCSW, I can also provide clinical supervision to therapists in training.

There is not a one size fits all treatment, and I look forward to working collaboratively with you to help you feel better. Reaching out for help is difficult. By reading this you have already accomplished the most difficult thing, which is having an open mind about therapy. When you’re ready, I’m here to listen. Let’s talk.
